Had a very satisfying trainee meeting this week with 5 second years and a third year in the King’s consortium of Medical Physics and Engineering STPs. It was good to hear about how they were still all enjoying the scheme and that they’d picked their specialisms. Us first years have now found out what we’re doing and where we are for the next 12 months too! First up, radiation safety at GSTT for me.
Some good advice from our training officer also- submit the professional competencies as soon as you’ve achieved them, even if you think there’s another opportunity to display the competency later on! Time to get my spreadsheet game on.
